Jack Cella
Regis
Regis High School's Jack Cella was the state's first three-time boys tennis champion, having garnered the singlesā titles in 1937, 1938 and 1939. To some observers, he is the most dominant champion ever in the state, having never lost a set during his three-year prep career. At age 15, Cella was the first Colorado junior player to be nationally-ranked, coming in at No.7. As a prep basketball player, he was named A1l-American at the Amos Alonzo Stagg Basketball Tournaments in Chicago as a senior in 1939
