Dalton Risner has always been a huge supporter of high school sports in Colorado.

A former four-sport athlete who graduated from Wiggins in 2014, the current guard for the Denver Broncos often returns for games in his hometown, where is father, Mitcheal, remains the football coach.

On Wednesday, unprompted, Risner sent out a video on the Broncos' social media channels offering his support to football players after their season was moved to the spring:

"Hey everybody, Dalton Risner here," he said in the video. "I heard the news about the Colorado high school football season being moved to the spring. I just want to let everyone know that we have your back. We're going to be supporting you, the Denver Broncos support you, and I support you.

"I know it's going to be hard, but you guys keep pushing through," Risner continued. "It's all going to be worth it, and we're going to make this work, and we're going to get through it together. God bless, and Go Broncos."
