The state tournament brackets for Class 1A and 2A basketball were released on Sunday.

Earning top seeds were Kit Carson (1A boys), Springfield (1A girls), Highland (2A boys) and Limon (2A girls).

Find the full brackets here:

The tournaments begin on Thursday, with games at Northern Colorado (Class 1A) and Budweiser Event Center (Class 2A). Final 4 games are Friday, and championship games are on Saturday.

Of note, with Mile High Academy's boys team qualifying for the state tournament, some accommodations for game times will need to be made because they are a Seventh day Adventist school observing a Saturday Sabbath.

Should their team win on Thursday, the boys and girls would switch semifinal times (boys to 4 p.m., girls to 5:30 p.m.). Should Mile High Academy advance to Saturday's third-place or consolation games, it will play at 8:30 p.m. The consolation bracket would move up one game time. The Budweiser Events Center schedule would also move up on game time, and the championship session would become a five-game session.

Should Mile High Academy advance to the 1A championship game, it will play at 8:30 p.m., with the 2A game played at 7 p.m., the 2A girls game at 5:30 p.m. and the 1A girls game at 4 p.m.
