Stratton/Liberty's Jaret Lichty rushes for 474 yards and eight touchdowns

Stratton/Liberty's Jaret Lichty added his name to the state record book on Saturday.

Lichty, a junior, rushed for 474 yards and eight touchdowns on just 17 carries as his team beat Idalia 84-35. His yardage total is the seventh-most by a single player in a game, and his touchdowns total is tied for the 14th-most. In addition, Lichty's 27.9 yards per carry ranks 10th.

In five games this season, Lichty has 802 yards and 15 touchdowns.

As a team, Stratton/Liberty rushed for 694 yards and 11 touchdowns, including 109 yards from Trevor Frank.

The yards are the third-most in a game by a single team, and the touchdowns are tied for the third most. Add in their 73 passing yards, and the Knighted Eagles amassed 767 yards of total offense, which is the eighth-most by a single team.
