Mallory Pugh, who graduated from Mountain Vista in 2016, has been named to the U.S. women's World Cup roster on Thursday.
The former national high school soccer player of the year will now represent her country at her sport's biggest event, which is set for June 7-July 7 in France.
In 50 international games, Pugh has scored 15 goals, including three goals in seven games in 2019.
The U.S. squad is in Group F along with Thailand, Chile and Sweden. Their first match is June 11 against Thailand.
Professionally, Pugh plays for the Washington Spirit of the NWSL.
