Ryan Ure went 2-for-4 and drove in four runs to help Eaton win a huge Class 3A baseball matchup against Sterling on Saturday.
No. 2 Eaton beat No. 3 Sterling, 11-4, thanks in large part to a quick-starting offense which scored three runs in the first, one in the third, and three more in the fourth.
Eaton actually led the game 9-0 before Sterling's comeback attempt in the top of the sixth that saw them score four runs.
Roper Rich also drove in two runs as part of a 3-for-4 day which saw him score two runs. Jared Ure also had two RBIs and pitched six innings in the win, striking out eight, and CJ Blaskowski scored three runs for the Reds.
Eaton has now won eight consecutive games, and they are unbeaten in the month of April. The Reds are 10-2 overall.
The loss snapped an eight-game winning streak for Sterling, which is now 11-2.
