No. 1 Colorado Academy girls lacrosse stays perfect with a win over No. 3 Regis Jesuit

Top-ranked Colorado Academy girls lacrosse remained unbeaten on Tuesday by beating No. 3 Regis Jesuit.

The Mustangs, who jumped out to a 10-2 advantage after the first half, won 16-5.

Katharine Merrifield led the way for CA with five goals. Sloane Murphy and Ella Greene each added three goals and an assist, while Jessie Bakes had two goals and three assists. Merrill Rollhaus had two goals and an assist for the Mustangs, and Ella Marks made seven saves in net.

Regis Jesuit's Grace Weigand and Sidney Weigand each had two goals. Sidney had six ground balls, while Grace collected five.

Colorado Academy is now 8-0 this season, and hosts No. 6 Chaparral on Friday.

Regis Jesuit (5-2) is at No. 5 Valor Christian on Thursday.
