Cherry Creek is on its way to sending its own unit to the United State Air Force Academy next fall.

Dominick Pallotto, a center and long snapper for the Bruins, took to Twitter Tuesday night to announce that he is committed to play at Air Force next year.

He'll join current teammate Marcus Miller, who announced his commitment to the Academy earlier in the summer.

Pallotto is a two-sport athlete at Cherry Creek. He plays football in the fall then joins the track team in the spring.

He had also recently received an offer to play at the University of Northern Colorado, but ultimately opted to head south.

He is the latest player from the class of 2019 to declare his post-high school intentions. Pallotto and Bruins will open their season on Aug. 23 when they travel to Doherty.
