Eaglecrest, Valor Christian and Brush are the top seeds in the state softball brackets that were released on Monday morning.

The top eight seeds in each class are regional champions from last weekend. The other qualifiers were seeded according to the final RPI of the regular season, with small adjustments made to avoid regional opponents in the first round.
The state tournaments in all three classes are Friday and Saturday at Aurora Sports Park. Games begin at 10 a.m. each day.
Eaglecrest is the top overall seed in 5A. The Raptors were also the No. 1 seed in the regional bracket. Other top seeds are No. 2 Arvada West, No. 3 Legacy, No. 4 Fossil Ridge, No. 5 Columbine, No. 6 Loveland, No. 7 Cherry Creek and No. 8 Pomona.
Cherokee Trail, the defending champion, did not make the state tournament.
Valor Christian, 4A's defending champion, is the top overall seed in 4A. Like Eaglecrest, the Eagles were the top seed in the regional bracket. Other top seeds are No. 2 Golden, No. 3 Discovery Canyon, No. 4 Erie, No. 5 Pueblo Central, No. 6 Thomas Jefferson, No. 7 Frederick and No. 8 Silver Creek.
Brush, another top seed in the regional bracket, is the top overall seed in 3A. Other top seeds are No. 2 Eaton, No. 3 Strasburg, No. 4 Lamar, No. 5 Faith Christian, No. 6 La Junta, No. 7 Meeker and No. 8 Weld Central.
Defending champion Rocky Ford is No. 10 and will face Meeker in the first round.
