No. 3 Kent Denver field hockey bounces back with win over No. 1 Palmer Ridge

After a week that saw Kent Denver field hockey tie with Regis Jesuit, then lose to Cheyenne Mountain and drop from the top spot in the field hockey rankings, the Sun Devils bounced back with a 1-0 win over the team that took exactly that spot from them: Palmer Ridge.

Kent Denver has been held to about 1.3 goals per game over the past three games. The Sun Devils scored four goals per game in their first four games.

Looking to continue the streak, Kent Denver travels to Golden on Friday. Palmer Ridge plays Mountain Vista on Wednesday.

The first official field hockey RPI standings of the season came out today. Palmer Ridge is first, while Kent Denver sits fourth.
