Jonathan Jimenez-Flores struck in the first half for Niwot and it was all the Cougars needed in their 3-0 over Peak to Peak on Tuesday.

The Class 4A No. 4 Cougars (5-0-1 overall) remain undefeated on the year and continue to gain momentum in a competitive 4A field.

Seniors Andres Montealegre and Abel Marrufo scored in the second half to make the lead more comfortable in the final 40 minutes of the game.

For the 3A No. 9-ranked Pumas (2-3), Senior keeper Nate Fangman turned away 10 shots, but the constant attack that the Cougars were able to put on proved to be too much.

Niwot is back in action on Saturday when it hosts Green Mountain. Next up for Peak to Peak is a league showdown with Prospect Ridge Academy.
