While there were no new teams added to the field hockey rankings this week, there were plenty of notable changes.

The most significant change was the team at the top as Kent Denver assumes the No. 1 position this week. This marks consecutive weeks that there has been a new top-team in the rankings.

The Sun Devils snagged a 2-0 win over Denver East last week, which played a huge part in their surge to the top of the poll. The Angels fell to No. 5, but remained in the rankings.

Palmer Ridge assumed the top spot last week after ending Colorado Academy's 78-game unbeaten streak, but followed that up with a 2-0 loss to Cherry Creek.

As a result, the Bruins jumped to No. 2 and the Bears come in at No. 3.

Colorado Academy drops two spots to No. 4 due to the strong play of all of the teams in the rankings this week.

The ranking, voted upon by coaches, is the official poll of the Association. Rankings are released each Monday during the season.
