LONGMONT — Class 4A boys basketball's top two teams battled Saturday, and No. 1 Longmont emerged with a 1-point victory over No. 2 Holy Family to stay undefeated.
Justinian Jessup and Blake Ogrady led the attack for Longmont, scoring 11 and 10 points respectively. Luke Golter poured in a game-high 16 points, and Chris Helbig added 14 points for Holy Family in the loss.
Longmont will look to keep its perfect record as it travels to Mountain View on Tuesday. Holy Family, after suffering its second loss of the season, will look to rebound Tuesday at Mead.
