The 2023 Colorado high school state volleyball championships will take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 9-11.
The state championship for every classification of girls volleyball will be hosted at the same venue, The Denver Coliseum, in Denver.
How do teams qualify for the state championships?
The winner of every regional will qualify for the state championship.

Where can I find a livestream?
Every round of the state championship tournament at Denver Coliseum will be livestreamed by the NFHS Network.
When will play start?
Thursday, Friday and Saturday matches will begin at 8 a.m. for all classes, with warmups beginning at 7:40 a.m. The venue will open to the public at 7 a.m.
What is the format of the competition?
A double-elimination tournament through the quarterfinals. A single-elimination tournament for the semifinals and finals.
How do we know when a certain team is performing?
Schedules and matchups will be displayed on the tournament bracket. Times are approximate, and scheduled for every 90 minutes. It’s common for games to start late as competitive volleyball matches are played all day long. There are eight matches a day on each court.

Do I need to buy a ticket to enter?
Yes, tickets options can be found on
the ticket page.
What time will the venue open?
The venue will open at 7 a.m. every day of the tournament.
What time is the championship match?
On Saturday, the two semifinal matches will take place at noon and 2 p.m., with the championship match scheduled for 6 p.m.
Will there be a trophy presentation?
Yes, awards will be presented at mid-court following each championship match.
