PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Tom Robinson, CHSAA's associate commissioner, and Dick Katte, the legendary Denver Christian basketball coach, were each honored with NFHS Citation awards on Saturday.

Robinson, entering his 18th year in the CHSAA office and fifth as associate commissioner, was the Section 6 recipient and was recognized for his service to a state association. He oversees officials, golf and sportsmanship, among other duties, for CHSAA.

Robinson is the fifth CHSAA administrator to receive an NFHS Citation, following former Sharon Wilch (1997), Gene Bunnelle (2000), Bob Ottewill (2005) and Bert Borgmann (2010).

Katte retired from coaching in 2012, but has been very active with the Colorado High School Coaches Association ever since. He currently serves as CHSAA's liaison to the coaches association. Katte was honored for his service to coaching.

He is the first from Colorado to ever receive an NFHS Citation for coaching service.
