Girls lacrosse rankings: Three new teams joins the poll

Chaparral, Dakota Ridge and Pine Creek all joined the girls lacrosse rankings this week.

The Wolverines jumped in at No. 7, while Dakota Ridge (No. 9) and Pine Creek (No. 10) are just behind them.

Elsewhere, Colorado Academy held onto its No. 1 spot from the preseason. Behind the Mustangs, Cherry Creek and Kent Denver held firm in the top three.

Columbine moved up to No. 4, and Mullen is up to No. 5.

The rankings, voted upon by coaches and select media members, are the official polls of the Association.

During the regular season, polls are announced each Monday.
