Field hockey rankings: All five teams stay put

With the postseason on the horizon, the top five teams in the field hockey rankings all held their position from last week.

Kent Denver still sits at No. 1, receiving five of seven first place votes.

Cherry Creek did not play a game last week and as a result, remained at No. 2.

With a win over Arapahoe and a tie with Colorado Academy, Palmer Ridge held firm at No. 3 and received the two remaining first-place votes.

Colorado Academy bounced back from its tie with the Bears to beat Golden and stay at No. 4.

Denver East notched a 1-1 tie with Mountain Vista and sat at No. 5 a result.

The ranking, voted upon by coaches, is the official poll of the Association. Rankings are released each Monday during the season.
