Girls lacrosse rankings: Off to a good start, ThunderRidge joins at No. 6

ThunderRidge stormed into the girls lacrosse rankings this week.

The Grizzlies, unranked in the preseason, jumped into the CHSAANow poll at No. 6 on Monday. They are 2-0 in the early part of the season, with wins over Chatfield and then-No. 8 Columbine.

Elsewhere, Colorado Academy stayed atop the ranking at No. 1. Mullen jumped Cherry Creek for the second spot, and Denver East moved from No. 7 to No. 4.

Kent Denver rounds out the top five.

The rankings, voted upon by coaches and select media members, are the official polls of the Association. During the regular season, they are released each Monday.
