Hockey rankings: Lewis-Palmer climbs up to No. 6

Monarch has a firm hold on the No. 1 spot in this week's hockey rankings, a position they have held since the start of the season.

Three of the top four teams from last week's ranking remain intact, with Cherry Creek jumping one spot to come in at No. 4.

Lewis-Palmer made waves last week with a 3-2 win over Steamboat Springs. That win helped the Rangers jump from No. 9 to No. 6.

Steamboat kept their spot at No. 7.

Mountain Vista fell to No. 9 after falling to Monarch, but retained enough votes to stay inside the top 10.

There were no new teams added to the rankings this week.

The rankings, voted upon by coaches and select media members, are the official polls of the Association. During the regular season, the poll will release each Monday.
